For the Children's Sake Book Discussion and Support group was started by Heidi Buschbach in 2011. We meet in Woodbury/Cottage Grove, MN once a month. We are reading through the 6 Volume Set, The Original Homeschooling Series, by Charlotte Mason. The 'Home Education' Series is so called from the title of the first volume, and not as dealing, wholly or principally, with 'Home' as opposed to 'School' education. We also use part of our discussion time to apply these methods to our lives through support, fellowship and immersion lessons. DVD lessons/seminars are periodically used to compliment our learning.

Our Spread the Feast co-op community is limited in size, but our book discussion is open to anyone who would like to learn about educating children well! If this group is not near you, please see the Book/Support Groups page to find another Support group near you in the Twin Cities!
